Not a very good deal

I was moving into a one bedroom apt and what should have cost $225 ended up costing me $375. There had been rain in the forecast and I had called to ask how they would do that and would reschedule if needed. They reassured me that it would all be fine and since there was rain in the forecast that if we got it done early enough, we'd miss the rain. On the day of the move, it did not start raining until after my furniture was loaded and at my destination. What they failed to mention when I had called and expressed my concern about the rain was that if my furniture had to sit in the truck when it rained, that the clock would still be running at $75 per hour. It rained for 2 hours so they got an extra $150 for doing absolutely nothing but sit in their truck.
Bad Deal

I was only moving a 1 bedroom apartment and it cost nearly $400 dollars. Six months earlier I made the exact same move with a different moving company and they charged me $250. I would have used them again, but the people at Ace quoted me $225. They charge by the hour, and the movers took smoke breaks and worked slowly and charged me for that time. Furthermore, their was an additional $80 fee because they did not want to move my couches upstairs. I would suggest not using this company to avoid any hassle.

I just wanted to take a minute and compliment your company with regard to the our recent move. From the time I called and talked to Brian until Chris and Mike finished the move, I was overwhelmed with their courtesy and professionalism. It is so refreshing to do business with a company that their employee's take pride in providing the customer service that is so lacking in most businesses. Brian was friendly, helpful, and was very knowledgeable in his work. I talked to him a couple of times and each time he was a total professional. My compliments to him. Now Chris and Mike were unbelievable. They were friendly, professional, very helpful with a couple of problems I had and obviously enjoy their work. They arrived in a timely manner, worked in a timely manner, and were the epitome of professionals. They not only introduced themselves individually to everyone upon their arrival but as they were leaving, went around again to everyone present and shook hands and thanked us for our business. I can't express how impressed we were with them. Our compliment to both. I just wanted to say thanks to your company and for the fine employee's you have.
