The Direct TV Dealer in Cookeville, Tennessee (Hi-Tech Direct) located on South Jefferson Ave., Cookeville TN has not honored "Refer A Friend" and has terrible customer service. Since we signed up for Direct TV we also signed up 3 more people to get Direct TV and neither them or us have received the $50.00 or the $100.00 as promised in ALL the Direct TV ad's. I have tried to get them to honor their word and as of today (11.3.2009) they have NOT. We have not had any problem with the service but the customer service is terrible. The owners are David and Wendy Benjamin and their phone number is 931-528-5233. If you need Direct TV service go somewhere else.

They have the worst customer service where is it that the customer is always right directv bdont believe that at all...We were cut off after notifying directv that we sent a payment and said that ok...So what happens we get cut off anyway...Now that is what i call poor customer service....They are only there to get a paycheck and dont care at all about the customer ....So now sending a letter to the CEO and just see what he has to say and got the names i talked with at directv and CEO will have them names....

I too have a big problem with Direct tv i was lied too first the start to the finish and then they took $437.20 out of my account with out permission I am on disablitie and this has put me in a financle crisis Make these people stop

My 86 year old Grandmother tryed this service. They took $200 from her because she had "no credit history", again she's 86. She had the service disconnected, out of frustration and disappointment. Direct Sat TV refused to refund and money to her and refuse to explain why. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN.

My service did not work initially. I had it installed and the service guy was RUDE. The service did not work the first day. I was charged $259 as a "credit check". I've called customer service several times and have gotten POOR SERVICE. They have told me there is nothing they can do and that the customer service would not transfer me to a supervisor. AVOID THIS SERVICE, BUY CABLE, ANYTHING, but DO NOT use this service.
